J. GREGORY BARROW
Founder and Managing Director

Greg has an extensive background in business leadership, entrepreneurship, and investment banking. He has worked on an interesting and diverse array of transactions including real estate and golf course developments to food manufacturing. He typically leads new engagements at GCP personally and with the other members of GCP to identify, prioritize and structure all available options.

Prior to founding GCP Greg was a partner at Equity Partners, Inc. and participated in over 50 transactions with companies experiencing financial difficulties. From 1991 to 1999, Greg was the founder and CEO of Peak Resources, Inc., an IBM Business Partner providing information systems and solutions to Fortune 1000 companies. Under Greg’s leadership Peak grew from startup to nearly $20 MM. Previously, he was a top performer and sales manager with Capital Associates International, Inc., a publicly traded computer leasing company. Greg received a B.S. in Business Administration with emphasis in Computer Science and Accounting from Washington & Lee University.

MICHAEL J. EDDY
Founder and Managing Director

Mike’s primary focus at GCP is providing clients with strategic direction and financial restructuring services. Mike has led numerous engagements at GCP that have resulted in innovative solutions for maximizing value to all parties. Mike’s extensive experience in the distressed lending and acquisition markets provides GCP’s clients with a deep knowledge base leading to examination of all potential solutions. Mike’s industry focus includes energy, manufacturing and service industries.

Prior to founding GCP Mike was a principal at AGL Capital Investments, LLC, a $100 million investment fund. Mike also served as CEO of Spectrum Apartment Search, a brokerage firm with over $35 million in revenue. Additionally, Mike was the COO and CFO of Prizm Communications, Inc., a leading edge technology service provider, and worked with McKinsey & Company where he consulted to senior management of Fortune 500 companies as well as smaller entities. Mike has an MBA from the Harvard Business School, a MS from The University of Tennessee and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from The United States Naval Academy.

WILLIAM GARRETT
Principal

Bill is the lead principal in our Austin, Texas office and is a licensed real estate broker in 16 states. Bill is an entrepreneur and business professional with eighteen years experience in starting and running small companies as well as leading large organizations. Bill has extensive background in the areas of information technology and software development.

Prior to joining GCP, Bill served in various capacities in the real estate and financial services industries including founding and growing his own company, Advantage Properties. Over a 17-year period Bill grew this real estate brokerage and service firm to over $30 million in revenue and he had a total of 300 agents on staff. Bill has an MBA from Texas State University, and a BA in finance from The University of Texas.

WESLEY PEAKER
Principal

Wes Peaker got his start in Commercial Real Estate in 1990 at Sonnenblick-Goldman and then later became a partner. During his career he has financed well in excess of $2B in transactions. These transactions have been debt and equity through JV’s, permanent, bridge, construction, development and other types of loans and structures.

In 1994 Wes opened the Denver office of Remsen Partners and was the top originator and closer of loans in the company. Wes joined GMAC Commercial Finance in 1996 and closed over $100M in the one year with GMAC. In 1997 Wes joined Belgravia Capital which was then purchased by FINOVA. Wes was one of the top Originators at FINOVA each year until leaving in 2000. Wes graduated from the University of Colorado with a BS in Finance and Marketing.

DAVID O. FORD
Corporate Counsel

David is an Associate and serves as Corporate Counsel in our Denver headquarters. David is licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado, and has the knowledge base required to deal with business and real property issues presented in bankruptcy. He supports the team in all facets of secure transactions, conducts and screens due diligence, and provides legal support for the company.

Prior to joining GCP, David was a Research Assistant to Professor Leandra Lederman, the William W. Oliver Professor of Tax Law at Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington. His professional memberships include the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association. David received a J.D. and a B.S. (Public Affairs) from Indiana University.

ALEXANDER M. MUSZ
Corporate Counsel

Alex is an Associate and serves as Corporate Counsel in our Denver headquarters. Alex is licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado and has a strong background in real estate, bankruptcy, and secured transactions.

Prior to joining GCP, Alex was a clerk for the Honorable Judge Grant Hawkins in Indianapolis, IN, and a Public Defender for the State of Colorado. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association. Originally from New Hampshire, Alex has B.A. in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin and a J.D. from Indiana University.

WHITNEY C. GEORGE
Senior Associate

Whitney serves as an Associate in our Denver headquarters. Whitney provides a multitude of services within the firm. She supports the team in all facets of buy and sell-side transactions including evaluating the financial and strategic options of distressed companies, due diligence, and marketing. As a licensed real estate agent in the State of Colorado, Whitney places an emphasis on real estate transactions and financing opportunities.

Prior to joining GCP, Whitney was a Financial Analyst with Summit Capital Advisors, a private real estate investment firm in Denver. There she refined her skills in property valuations and market research. Whitney received a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado.

ERIC NARANJO
Associate

Eric is an Associate in our Denver office. His primary role is to screen and conduct due diligence for possible and current engagements. Eric assists in the marketing of distressed and non-distressed companies in the natural resources, energy and manufacturing sectors. His understanding of real estate and operational entities provides a solid base of understanding to the GCP team.

Prior to joining GCP, Eric worked at Capital International Management where he focused on raising capital for a technology start up as well as assisted in the development of a natural food retail chain in the Middle East. Previously, he worked at AIC Ventures, a private REIT, where he conducted market research and due diligence for Fund V, a $250 million portfolio. Eric earned his B.B.A in Corporate Finance/Marketing at St. Mary’s University and his M.A in Global Finance at the University Of Denver Graduate School Of International Studies. Eric is also a Return Peace Corps Volunteer from Peru 2002-04.

ADAM SIVAKOFF
Associate

Adam is an Associate in our Denver headquarters. Adam has an extensive background in real estate finance. He supports the team in all aspects of an engagement, including screening due diligence information, providing financial analysis, and developing strategic planning initiatives. As a licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker, Adam focuses his efforts on complex real estate asset and development Bankruptcy cases.

Prior to joining GCP, Adam was a Real Estate Analyst for JHS Inc., a private equity real estate investment firm in Denver, CO, where he honed his analytical skills through the creation of proformas and financial models for numerous real estate asset classes. Previously, he was a Construction Manager for D.R. Horton. Adam received a BSBA in Finance-Real Estate from Colorado State University.
